British Airways will extend its daily service between London Gatwick and V.C. Bird International Airport throughout April 2027, adding more than 3,000 seats as UK demand for Antigua & Barbuda continues to grow.
The UK remains one of the country’s key tourism markets, with 53,439 stay-over visitors arriving between January and August 2026, an increase of 11.2% compared with the same period in 2025. The extended schedule will give spring travellers more choice and provide additional capacity for visitors attending Antigua Sailing Week, which takes place from 21st to 25th April.
The announcement follows the Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority’s work to build year-round demand in the UK, promoting the islands’ food, culture, heritage and sporting events alongside their beaches. British Airways operates five flights a week from May to the end of October.
