FIFA is to construct a 5,000-seat football stadium in Antigua & Barbuda, its president Gianni Infantino announced during a meeting with Prime Minister Gaston Browne. The government has already provided land for the new facility, which would give the national team a dedicated home and create more opportunities to host major matches. A construction timetable has yet to be announced.
