Caribbean Travel Marketplace returns to Antigua & Barbuda from 12th to 15th May

    EditorBy EditorMay 7, 2026No Comments2 Mins Read

Antigua & Barbuda will once again welcome some of the biggest names in regional and international tourism next week as the Caribbean Travel Marketplace returns to the twin-island nation from 12th to 15th May.

Widely regarded as the Caribbean’s leading tourism business event, the annual gathering brings together hotels, destinations, tour operators, travel advisors and industry professionals from across the globe for several days of meetings, networking and industry discussions. The event will take place at the American University of Antigua conference facilities and further strengthens Antigua & Barbuda’s growing reputation as a destination for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE). Hosting major regional and international events has become an increasingly important part of the country’s tourism offering, helping to diversify the sector beyond traditional leisure travel.

“The event will take place at the American University of Antigua conference facilities and further strengthens Antigua & Barbuda’s growing reputation as a destination for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE).”

With hundreds of delegates expected to attend, Caribbean Travel Marketplace places Antigua & Barbuda firmly in the spotlight while giving visitors the opportunity to experience the islands’ hospitality, culture and tourism product first-hand.

More than just a trade show, Marketplace plays an important role in shaping future tourism business across the region. Buyers and suppliers meet face to face to discuss partnerships, new travel offerings and opportunities for growth in an increasingly competitive global market.

This year’s programme will also focus heavily on the future of tourism, including digital marketing, direct bookings, artificial intelligence and changing traveller behaviour.

“The return of Marketplace for a second consecutive year is another strong endorsement for Antigua & Barbuda and reflects the destination’s continued momentum within the regional tourism industry.”

The event is expected to generate valuable exposure not only for hotels and tourism stakeholders, but also for businesses connected to hospitality, transport, food, entertainment and the wider visitor economy.

For several days, Antigua & Barbuda will become the meeting point for the Caribbean tourism industry, with conversations, connections and partnerships that could help shape the region’s future for years to come.
